Disinfection & Sterilisation of instruments before & after surgery is of at most important. If not sterillize properly it may lead to life threatening infections.
GLUHYDE-A (Glutaraldehyde 2.45% w/v) is highly effective against gm+ve, gm-ve bacteria, tubercule bacillus, fungi, viruses, including HIV & spores.
GLUHYDE-A is indicated for Hygienic Disinfection of Medical Surgical Equipments like endoscopes, bronchoscopes, artheroscopes, laparoscopes & anaesthetic instruments made of rubber, plastic, metal, glass & procelain.
Activation Process :
- Pour the GLUHYDE-A solution into the tray depending on the need. Add the content of attached activator vial as needed.
- For 1 Ltr. GLUHYDE-A solution, add 6.5 gm activator vial.
- For 5 Ltr. GLUHYDE-A solution, add 32.5 gm activator vial.
- Colour of solution changes to green when activated.
- Put Activation and Expiry date on the tray
- GLUHYDE-A solution can be reuse for a maximum 14 days after activation.
For Sterilization :
Keep pre cleaned instruments in activated GLUHYDE-A solution for at least 10 hours.
For Disinefction :
lmmerse pre cleaned instruments in activated GLUHYDE-A solution for minimum 30 minutes to 2 hours.
